The Reggie Bush Bowl Everyone in Houston, it seems, is rooting for the Texans, 2-13, to lose at San Francisco, 3-12, today and lock up the No. 1 overall draft pick. That undoubtedly would be USC junior running back Reggie Bush, assuming he declares for the NFL draft. If the Texans beat San Francisco , several teams, including the Jets, 49ers, Saints and Packers, could all be 3-13, and New Orleans would have the pick based on strength of schedule. The Texans then would be second and have to hope the Saints would take USC quarterback Matt Leinart, leaving Reggie Bush for Houston . Houston coach Dom Capers, who surely won't be around to coach Bush, Leinart or anyone the Texans select, understands the fans' feelings. "Probably the last month or so there's been a lot of that sentiment," Capers said. "When you're a coach or a player, you never think about that kind of stuff. From a coaching standpoint, your job is to try to win every week. I think there's probably a lot of that sentiment, but if you polled our team or our coaching staff, we want to go to San Francisco and finish this season - as difficult as it's been - on a positive note." Houston quarterback David Carr, a first overall pick himself in the Texans' expansion year of 2002, said: "We might be the only people who want us to win this game. It's a very different feeling when people are telling you, 'Good luck, go get 'em, but make sure you don't win.' It's a tough situation."
