Samuel L. Jackson and Ahmad Rashad Discuss Reggie Bush's Skills

Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush of USC looked like the clear-cut No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft. However, since the Rose Bowl, there is plenty of debate if it's Reggie Bush or Texas quarterback Vince Young.

While sitting down before their round Thursday at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, actor Samuel L. Jackson and former Vikings receiver Ahmad Rashad both agreed that if they were the Houston Texans, they would select Young.

"I'd take Vince Young if I had to pick between Vince Young and Reggie Bush," Rashad said. "You can get a running back. It's hard to get one of those quarterbacks like that, because he can give you a running game and a passing game in one shot. You can get a running back. If you take Vince Young, you don't need the best running back."

However, the Texans already have David Carr, the No. 1 overall pick four years ago.

"I don't care if you have a quarterback already, you take Vince Young," Jackson said. "He's the king of Texas , you sell out the stadium immediately, you jack up the ticket prices, everything. It's good business."

Overhearing them nearby is St. Louis Rams running back Marshall Faulk, who chimes in.

"You (guys) are blind," Faulk said.

Faulk believes Reggie Bush is an impact player.

"Without a doubt, without a doubt," Faulk said. "You don't do the things he has done and come into this league and somehow, someway not produce."

When talking about Reggie Bush, experts have compared him to Faulk, a versatile player who is dangerous in the open field. Some have also compared Reggie Bush to Marcus Allen, to which Allen said there's no comparison.

"We're completely different other than he's from San Diego, I'm from San Diego, he went to USC, I went to USC, I won a Heisman, he won a Heisman," Allen said. "We're different backs. I think he's extremely dynamic and I think he's a great person and just an incredible athlete."
