Reggie Bush Hits The Red Carpet At NEXT Party

At the two-level ESPN NEXT party, in the recently restored Colony Club, Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush, actors Will Ferrell, Tom Arnold and Josh Lucas, and Detroit Tiger legend Kirk Gibson were among those who walked the red carpet.

Guests were served on three levels of the Colony Club: the mezzanine, a lower lounge and the main ballroom. They ate seared tuna, shrimp curry puffs, falafels, pear-and-cheese quesadillas and beef-and-bean empanadas.

DJs provided the music, and on the main ballroom floor several large flat-screen monitors flashed ESPN images and debuted a commercial for the ESPN mobile phone that will be airing during the Super Bowl.

Flipside, a rap-rock group, entertained around 11 p.m.

Other guests included Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Jesse Palmer, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher.

Reggie Bush said he planned to party later in the evening at the NFL Players Association party at the Detroit Opera House and at the Sean (Diddy) Combs party at Elysium in downtown Detroit.

Reggie Bush said, One of the first things I realized about Detroit is that people here are very nice.

The Colony Club is at 2310 Park Avenue (near the Fox Theatre, across from Ford Field).
